Our Story

Garren and I became best friends our Junior year of High School. He was there for me when boys broke my heart, and we never let anything come between our friendship. Garren left to serve a full time mission in London, England on August 8, 2008. Meanwhile I went to BYU and worked out on my degree, moved to New York and nannied in 2009, and during the summer of 2010 I went to Africa with three of my best friends to live in an Orphanage, teach English in a Junior High School, and volunteer in the Special Needs school. All of these experiences changed our lives for the better.

When Garren came back in July of 2010 our friendship picked back up right where it left off. He was there for me once again as I nursed a broken heart. On October 3, 2010 Garren sheepishly told me he had feeling for me and we decided to put the fear of losing our friendship aside and dive into the dating world. He kissed me for the first time on October 10, 2010 and after that we fell in love. I had always loved him, I was just to afraid of losing him to admit to myself or any one else that I was IN love with him. Garren asked me to marry him on February 21, 2011 on top of a snowy mountain over looking Cedar Breaks.

It couldn’t have been more perfect. On May 6, 2011 we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple. Happiness truly is falling in love with your best friends.

Garren graduated from Physical Therapy school last year and now practices as a Pediatric Physical therapist. I have the privilege of staying home with our daughters Blair (3) and Eleanor (1).
